My interview with Abby went well today. I was a little bit flustered because I had written a cover letter for Micah. Abby really loved the black ink on craft paper, and the graphic element of the quilt was a good choice, so I am excited that I chose to make that change at the end. I described my pieces well, but I need to change my portfolio a little bit. Some of the details aren't very detailed - and take away from the piece. I plan to take some of the pieces away because they don't really add to the story of my design, which Abby helped me realize. I plan to rephotograph a few things and really get detailed shots rather than blow up vector images of the posters. I need to work on consistency a bit throughout my portfolio, but overall, I feel like I have a well-rounded portfolio and that it works with my branding and my personality.
